Long Term Goal

I have unfinished business with the state of Arkansas back in June 2000 I attempted to run across the state, but due to the heat I was forced to quit. Life got in the way of running, and I did not run for a regular basis for seven years. However, I am back running again and my long term goal is to run across the state of Arkansas. The tentative state will be 2009 or 2010. This time the run will be either in November or March so that the heat will not ruin my attempt. More details to follow.

This Week In Running

I have completed three weeks in my running come back. I had a great run of 11.5 miles this past Thursday. I was really strong, and could have go longer. I also had a bad day running I ran 2.3 miles but it was a struggle. I was greatly encouraged by other runners on the ultra list who reminded that just getting out makes is a good run.

I am also planning some races, and hope to make a major announcement this week.
